Central Pane Elements

Dashboard

Located at the top of the Central Pane, the Dashboard:

  • Provides data for the timeframe you select in the Timeframe Dropdown List.

  • Contains a Refresh Data button in the upper left allowing you to refresh all page data.

Timeframe Dropdown List

Located in the upper left of the Central Pane, this enables you to present transaction data specific to the following timeframes:

  • Today (Default)

  • Past 48 Hours

  • 1 Week

  • 1 Month

  • Custom Range

Dashboard Data

Between the Dashboard and the View Dropdown List, dashboard data is presented in two forms:

Numerical form

The actual number.

Pie chart
  • A representation of the data as a percentage of all data over the selected time frame.

  • When you hover over or click on a section of the pie chart, the section illuminates and provides the number corresponding to that section.

  • When you click a section of the pie chart, the content area will apply necessary filters to display the corresponding data in the Content Area.

  • Click Overview in the top left, to either raise or collapse your Dashboard Data on the screen

View Dropdown List

This menu, above the Filter Bar, presents the following view options:

The type of data that appears in the Content Area depends on the menu option you choose in the View Dropdown List.

Filter Bar

Located below the View Dropdown List, this enables you to filter the results of a content view.

  • Consists of Dropdown Filter lists that enable you to specify the criteria by which you want to filter.

  • Which specific Dropdown Filter Lists appear depends on your selection in the View Dropdown List.

  • Any of the type-able fields will auto-filter as you type into them. In some cases, copying and pasting the value may be helpful.

  • Features a Viewing filter allowing you to choose:

    • Both

    • Partners

    • Applications

  • Includes a Reset Filters button in the top right.

To Reset a Filter

  1. Click the Dropdown Filter List you want to clear.

    The Filter List appears.

  2. At the top right of the Filter List, click the Reset button.

To Reset all Filters

At the top right side of the Filter Bar, click Reset Filters

Content Area

A table appears below the Central Pane. Table column headings depend on the choices you make in the Timeframe Dropdown List and the View Dropdown List.

The following Content Views are possible:

Transactions View

The transactions view is the default view for the Transaction Monitor page. For more information on transactions see Tracking Examples.

Content

Each row has 10 columns:

Column 1 (Replay Indicator)

This column presents a grey circle at the top of the column allowing you to select all incomplete transactions in the content area below. You can also select individual incomplete transactions in this column.

  • Select incomplete transaction(s) and you may replay that transaction by clicking the blue Replay button in the top right of the filter Bar.

Column 2 (Status)

This column contains the following symbols:

  • A green checkmark means the transaction was successful

  • A red caution sign means that an error occurred somewhere in the transaction.

Column 3 (Replay Status)

This column contains the following symbols:

  • An orange clock means a replay is requested and currently being processed.

  • A blue partial circle with an arrowhead pointing right, means that the transaction has been replayed.

  • A gray partial circle with an arrowhead pointing left , means that the transaction is a replay of another transaction.

Column 4 (Proceeding Transaction Type)

This column contains symbols indicating the preceding transaction type.

  • Batch

  • Debatch

  • Chain

  • Multi-route

Column 5 (Next Transaction Type)

This column contains symbols indicating the next transaction type.

  • Batch

  • Debatch

  • Chain

  • Multi-route

Hover over each icon for details on the Transaction type.

Column 6 (Status)

This column provides a detailed transaction status label.

Column 7 (Name)

This column provides the name of the transaction.

Column 8 (From)

This column indicates who the transaction originated from.

Column 9 (To)

This column indicates who the transaction is going to.

Column 10 (Date)

This column indicates the date and time at which the transaction occurred.

Transaction Event Rows

To view detailed information for the events that comprise a transaction, click anywhere in a transaction row. A new table appears beneath the transaction row. Events appear in inverse chronological order (oldest first). Details include:

From

Partner or Application from whom the event originated

To

Partner or Application to whom the event was sent

Type

Event type

Date

Date and time at which the event occurred

Label

Type of event action in the transaction

Transaction Detail Pane (Right)

Hidden when no transaction is selected, this pane includes:

  • Preceding transaction ID and Link

  • Next transaction ID and Link

  • From

  • To

  • Date

  • Transaction ID

Action Icons

  • The blue copy icon allows you to copy information to your clipboard

  • Click View Preceding Transaction to see the preceding transaction

  • Click View Next Transaction to see the next transaction

If a transaction has been replayed a blue View replays link appears.

  • Click the View replays link to view transaction replays

If a transaction is a replay of a transaction a blue View original link appears.

  • Click the blue View original link to view the original transaction

    • Additionally you can copy the Original Transaction ID by clicking the blue copy action icon next to it.

Filters

You can filter transactions based on:

Date of Transaction
  • Today

  • Past 48 Hours

  • 1 Week

  • 1 Month

  • Custom Range

    • From: Select a date from the calendar; only transactions that occurred after that date will appear.

    • To: Select a date from calendar; only transactions that occurred before that date will appear

View

In the View Dropdown List filter by:

  • Both

  • Partners

  • Applications

Relationship

Filter by the application or partner between which the transaction occurs.

  • Choose the Partner or Application from the dropdown menu

Transaction ID

Filter by individual Transaction ID.

To Show all Transactions

Click Reset Filters in the top right.

Transmissions View

The transmissions view presents data on each transmission between applications and partners in Transaction Monitor. For more information on transmissions see Tracking Examples.

Content

Each row has 5 columns:

  1. From: Who the transmission came from

  2. To: Who the transmission was sent to

  3. Date: Date and time at which the transmission occurred

  4. Transmission Type: The protocol the transmission was sent over

  5. Label: Any label associated with the transmission

Transmission Detail Pane (Right)

This pane is hidden when no transmission is selected. It contains:

  • From

  • Transmission Type

  • Date

  • The Message payload

  • Status

  • Transmission IDs

Action Icons

  • The blue copy icon allows you to copy information to your clipboard

  • The blue share icon opens a detail page that shows the complete message payload. This detail page allows you to:

    • Copy Payload URL

    • Download

    • Copy content to clipboard

Buttons

  • A Transaction button will appear when a transmission is selected

    • This will take you to the Transactions View and highlight this specific transmission

Filters

You can filter transmissions based on:

Date
  • Today

  • Past 48 Hours

  • 1 Week

  • 1 Month

  • Custom Range

    • From: Select a date from the calendar; only transmissions that occurred after that date will appear.

    • To: Select a date from calendar; only transmissions that occurred before that date will appear

View
  • Both

  • Partners

  • Applications

Relationship

Select the partner or application associated with the transmission

File Name

Enter in part or all of a file name

Transport

Select the transport protocol the transmission was sent over

Transmission ID

Allows you to filter for a transmission by entering the ID

To Show all Transmissions

Click Reset Filters in the top right.

Errors View

The errors view presents error data in Transaction Monitor. For more information on errors see Tracking Examples.

Content

Each row has 4 columns:

  1. From: Who the transaction came from

  2. To: Who the transaction was going to

  3. Date: Date and time at which the error occurred

  4. Error Code: Code associated with the error

Error Detail Pane (Right)

This pane is hidden when no error is selected. It contains:

  • Error Message

  • Error ID

  • Source

  • Source ID

Action Icons

  • The blue copy icon allows you to copy informaiton to your clipboard

  • The blue file code icon opens a detailed error message

Buttons

  • A Transaction button will appear when an error is selected.

Filters

You can filter errors based on:

Date
  • Today

  • Past 48 Hours

  • 1 Week

  • 1 Month

  • Custom Range

    • From: Select a date from the calendar; only errors that occurred after that date will appear.

    • To: Select a date from calendar; only errors that occurred before that date will appear

Viewing
  • Both

  • Partners

  • Applications

Error code
  • 0- Unknown

  • 1- Duplicate

  • 2- FA

  • 3- TA

  • 4- Laguishing

  • 5- Exception

  • 6- Parse Error

Error Source
  • Transmission

  • Transaction

  • Document

Relationship

Select the application or partner between which the error occurs.

Error ID

Enter a specific error identifier.

To Show all Errors

Click Reset Filters in the top right.

Documents View

The Documents View presents data on documents that are sent through Transaction Monitor. For more information on documents see Tracking Examples.

Content

Each row has 6 columns:

  1. From: Who the document was sent from.

  2. To: Who the document was sent to.

  3. Date: Date and time at which the document was sent.

  4. Standard: The standard used to send the document.

  5. Message Type: The type of message that was sent.

  6. Label: Detail information describing the document.

Document Detail Pane (Right)

This pane is hidden when no document is selected. It contains:

  • Document ID

  • Document Definiton ID

  • Standard

  • Version

  • Message Type

  • From

  • To

  • Date

  • Duplicate Quiry

  • Message Payload

  • Partnership ID

Action Icons

  • The blue copy icon allows you to copy information to your clipboard

  • The blue share icon opens a detail pane that shows the complete message payload. This pane allows you to:

    • Copy Payload URL

    • Download

    • Copy content to clipboard

Buttons

  • A Transaction button will appear when a document is selected

Filters

You can filter documents based on:

Date
  • Today

  • Past 48 Hours

  • 1 Week

  • 1 Month

  • Custom Range

    • From: Select a date from the calendar; only documents that occurred after that date will appear.

    • To: Select a date from calendar; only documents that occurred before that date will appear

View
  • Both

  • Partners

  • Applications

Relationship

Select the partner or application that is associated with the document

Message Type

Enter the message type found in the Document Detail Pane (Right)

Property Name

Select the document property name from the dropdown list

Property Value

Enter the document property value found in the Document Detail Pane (Right)

Standard

Select the document standard protocol from the dropdown list

Document ID

Enter the document ID found in the Document Detail Pane (Right)

To Show all Documents

Click Reset filters in the top right.
